Facing Derrick the Executioner feels intense but manageable — a towering brute with slow, heavy attacks that can be baited and countered. His second phase ramps up the tension as he transforms into a raging beast, but keeping calm and dodging at the right moments secures victory. Onryoki, however, is a true test of patience and timing. His wild chain swings cover a wide area, forcing constant movement, while his second phase becomes a brutal dance of dodging his powerful strikes. Both battles reward careful observation and precise execution, embodying Nioh’s unforgiving but exhilarating combat.
